Philadelphia Baby Gift Set: Muslin Swaddle & Bib | Organic Cotton

I bought this as a gift. After reading all the reviews, I really expected something different. While the pictures and colors are bright, the actual weight of the blanket floored me! It’s slightly thicker than cheesecloth. It is thin! I read what the fabrication is and can only hope that it will soften upon washing and use and not fall apart. I, almost, feel embarrassed giving this to the couple and had to purchase an actual baby blanket. I understand it’s to swaddle the baby but was not expecting it to be this flimsy. At least the burp cloth is doubled. Disappointed.

I purchased the Philadelphia set for a friend who had a new baby. He loves the city and is a big foodie, the design had so many things he loves about the city. The quality was great. I was hesitant at first to get a muslin blanket, it didn't sound too soft to me, but my daughter assured me it would be soft, it is so soft and comfy!! So very happy I got it!
