Little Hometown

Little Hometown makes state and city themed baby gifts: muslin swaddle blankets, 2-in-1 burp cloth bibs, onesies, and ready-to-give gift sets in 50+ state and city designs. A small, mom-owned brand founded in New Orleans in 2016. Orders ship daily from Texas. Most orders are gifts for a baby who lives in, or comes from, a specific place.

What we sell

  • Muslin swaddle blanket ($25). 47 x 47 inches, bamboo and cotton muslin, breathable and machine washable. Our core product and best seller.
  • 2-in-1 burp cloth and bib ($18). Works as a burp cloth, then snaps into a full-coverage bib.
  • Gift set ($39). A swaddle plus the matching burp cloth and bib, packaged together. The most common gift.
  • 3-piece bundle ($60). Swaddle, burp cloth and bib, and a matching onesie.

  • Onesies ($28). Printed to order; allow 5 to 7 days of production before shipping.

Designs

50+ state and city designs, drawn around the food, flowers, wildlife and landmarks each place is known for (for example crawfish and magnolias for Louisiana, bluebonnets and armadillos for Texas, blue crabs for Maryland).

Our story

Little Hometown was founded by Marie, a south Louisiana native who spent years in New York City before moving home to New Orleans with her husband, Jeff, to raise their family. After her second child was born she set out to make large, soft swaddles covered in the things that remind people of home. The idea behind every design: a gift that sends a connection, not just a present.
